Below you will find resources to aid faculty and staff in matters of post-baccalaureate study.

  • Graduate School – Faculty/Staff Blackboard Site - Please visit the Graduate School - Faculty/Staff Blackboard site which houses forms, graduate policy update notifications, publications, and more.
    If you do not have access to the Blackboard site, please contact Colin Creasy at ccreasy@admin.fsu.edu or (850) 644-3501.
  • Faculty Handbook - The Faculty Handbook contains the Constitution and Bylaws of the University, standards, policies, history and government, organization and administration, academic units and policies and other general information.
  • Graduate Bulletin - The Graduate Bulletin includes, but is not limited to, information on policies, degree requirements, graduate faculty, and academic programs.
  • Graduate Faculty Status Information Database - The Graduate Faculty Status Information Database contains information on faculty members with graduate faculty and directive status. Selections may be made to select by department, degree program, or graduate status type.
  • Outstanding Graduate Faculty Mentor Award - Sponsored annually by the Graduate School, this award honors faculty mentors whose dedication to graduate students and mentoring have made a significant contribution to the quality of life and professional development of graduate students at Florida State University.

Florida State honors graduate students at annual event

Florida State University honored the achievements of its graduate students during the annual Celebration of Graduate Student Excellence April 11. Students were recognized for excellence in teaching, research, creativity and leadership.

21 Colleges Win Grants to Study What Helps Minority Ph.D. Students in Sciences Succeed

The Council of Graduate Schools is awarding grants of $30,000 to 21 institutions, which will participate in a qualitative investigation of the experiences of minority graduate students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, commonly referred to as STEM fields.
